Getting started
Open Zexro, wait for the Linux image to boot, then type commands at user@zexro:~$. No account or installation is required.

Everything you need to use the command-line environment.
Commands
Common BusyBox Linux commands such as ls, cd, cat, grep, find, tar, vi, sed, awk, curl and ping are available. Type help inside the terminal for a quick guide.
Files and storage
Work in /home/user. Use /home/user/share for imported files. Save a browser snapshot when you want to preserve the whole machine, and export important files before clearing browser data.
Installing software
Zexro uses a compact 32-bit Buildroot image. It is not a full Debian or Alpine repository, so apt, Homebrew, Codex CLI and many modern binary packages are unavailable. Unsupported tools simply cannot be installed.
Compatibility depends on the current Zexro image.Networking
HTTP and HTTPS use a browser-safe network adapter. ping is provided through the virtual network. Raw sockets, incoming ports and an SSH server are not available.
Security and limits
Root access only affects this browser VM. Zexro cannot browse your computer files unless you explicitly import one. Docker, K3s, graphical desktops and host hardware access are unavailable.
